Hi Babe:
Every morning when I wake up, I look at my phone to see if there is a message from you. It’s like having a birthday present each time I get an email from you. Thanks.
As for me waiting for you another “nickel” (prison term for a 5 years stint), I can do another standing on my head. What worries me most, is your statement “I’m not leaving here for a while”. Why? What is happening in your life that would hold you back so strongly? Is it me? Do you hate me, okay, dislike me so much? Are you afraid? Is it Johnny not being married yet? Is it Michael? I always knew you would give up your life, for them, but can you share with me, why? Is it the mortgage? Your debts? I can even understand another man. It can’t be the job! Let me know.
I have to look out for this baseball player, Tim Lincecum, but I can probably tell what you see in him already. The President’s plane was awesome to see taking off. As for your birthday, Im glad you will be with the boys. I will write again on the sixth.
I have something for Johnny. I remember he used to like roller coasters, and daring rides, well, when he comes to Vegas, there is a new adventure for him at the Stratosphere (where we had dinner in the revolving restaurant) called Sky Jump. Its 108 stories up, 855 feet down, costs $100 to do, but they say it’s the ultimate in experience. See, they strap you into a harness, take you all the way up to the top, and then you walk by yourself out into the open sky. It’s not a bungy jump. It is a “controlled decent on a wire”. You land at the bottom on your feet because the wire slows you down before you “hit”. Oh, the ride takes 16 seconds of your life. He would love it. I would poop my pants. Why not come with him?
Babe, your birthday should be a big deal. I promise you, I will make it a big deal each and every year when we are together. And, it will be a surprise each year as well, as to where it will take place or what its connected to, or how you get to spend your day. I owe you that happiness.
About my foot. There is another appointment with the doctor on Thursday this week. So far the two things he has done have done nothing for me. In fact, I have been using a cane for the past month to take some pressure of the foot. I’m afraid, I will have to get the operation in order to get it better.

Hi, Michael and I watched the All Star Game and the Home Run Derby too. We have Taco Bell (of course). We also rooted for the NL with the Braves. I'm happy they won. I hate the stupid Yankees. I have a new favorite Pitcher since Glavine retired....I love, love, love Tim Lincecum of the SF Giants. He's only 23 years old and looks 12, and weighs maybe 130 lbs. He has long hair and throws a super fast fastball. He's so cute.
I remembered how long it's been since you left. It was the day before Jackie's birthday. Time goes by very quickly. I wouldn't suggest you wait another 5 years for me, sorry. I'm not leaving here for a while, even though the icy cold winters are wearing on me. The Italian disease ya know.
You must have been awestruck when you saw the President's plane Air Force One. I would be amazed too. I'm glad you were able to get a picture. It's definitely a once in a lifetime site.
You know I never really make plans for my birthday. Each year that goes by I become less and less excited that I'm another year older. The boys always surprise me with something special which is nice. I spoke to my mother last week. She's having a good time with Nikki and the dogs! Jackie said if my mother keeps feeding the dogs treats they're going to explode!! We're going there next week. Nikki and Artie are throwing Jackie a surprise 50th birthday party. She's going to be really surprised. I guess she'll figure it out when she sees all the cars in her drive-way, but it's still going to be fun. Dukey will be there in her party dress and bring her bathing suit. She's ready to go swimming and destroy every ball and toy of Sparky and Maddie's. I usually go to the Dollar Store and get a bunch of stuff because Dukey chews all their toys.
How is your foot doing? I hope it's feeling better and you're not in pain. Well, we have a heat wave going on here for the week. It's going to be well over 90 degrees and humid until next Saturday. I guess that's cool compared to what you're getting out there now. John and his girlfriend are heading to Vegas in August. He has been wanting to get back toVegas for a while. He loves it there.

Well, next week will be 5 very long years since we have been apart. Is it right of me to think if I wait long enough you will change your mind? Well, I'm waiting, and hoping. Another 5 years? What do you think?
Must share with you, this week the President was giving a speech here in Vegas, and when he left, I happen to be going to an appointment, and saw Air Force One taxiing, and taking off. Yes, I has to grab the phone camera and took pictures as I drove. What a sight! Once in a life time sight.
What are your plans for your birthday? Haven't told me if you want something, so I can only dream of the times we used to go shopping for no reason. That's the way to shop. I was thinking of getting you a gift certificate to Victoria's Secret, but I'm against the thought of you getting something sexy, yes sexy on you, (WOW!) and having someone else see you in it. It's just not right!
Spoke to your mother the other day, she sounded good. And she would not say much about you, although I did ask how you were doing. Be well, Babe, if you need anything, please tell me. I know I always want to fix things, that's what I'm supposed to do.
