3-28-10 (Me to Babe)
Hi Babe:
Well, my brain is fried! Why, because I heard the song I Swear, last night, and the words were written just for you. What can I say! Everything my Nut Doctor has been telling me to do with reference to you went out the window as soon as I heard those words. And, of course, all I could think was about you for the rest of the night, and today and...Im back to square one.

So now, I have to stay away from your pictures, from talking to you, from thinking about you, from you basically, and now even from listening to songs. Ahh, just kill me now.

You sure you don't want me to come and get you? It would make my life so much easier and happier, more financially secure, more healthier, and more stable,

I know, I know there is no room for me in your life. However, you can go throughout the rest of your life knowing how much I loved you, and what you mean to me. No one else in this world could ever feel about you the way I do. I just had to say it one more time before I die.

Another subject: Have a happy Easter next Sunday. Hope you are all together for dinner like always. Don't forget the Peeps. And enjoy your mother whenever she is with you.

Hi Babe:
Just wondering how you fared with the weather last night. Is everything alright? Lights come back on? Did you receive my email?

At the supermarket, today, I saw that "clucker" chicken like you used to have that when you pressed it down, it would lay eggs (jelly beans). Would you like one?

By the way, thanks for letting me know in your phone message that I could call you on your cell for last night's call. Otherwise I would not have called you. It changes my life when I get a call from you, and hear your voice. Now, back to reality, I guess. It was really good to hear your voice.

Hi Babe:

It was so good to hear from you. I have so many things to share with you, don't know where to start. I guess by answering some of the points in your letter. Have a great time with your mother. I spoke to her a few days ago, and she sounded very good. Please, please enjoy her company, and talk about the past, share everything you can with her while you can. (My apologies if it sounds I'm telling you what to do). I know from my experience with my mother, that I treasure those last months and days I had with her. Although I can no longer share things with her, I do have the memories, and the stories we did share during her last year of her life. And, now, I think of your mother as part of my own.

As for my own family, I know very little. Julie broke her hip, and had it replaced. Luis did call me when she was in the hospital, but afterwards, nothing. I learned from Mike, my friend there, that Luis also went into the hospital in February for his heart. He had a 13% usage of his left ventricle. But, I do not know what has happened to him.

As for the weather here, its been a bit cool, but its wonderful and beautiful. No jackets, no gloves, no scarfs, no boots, maybe a sweater is all that is needed. You should really re-consider. Work is also very good. I'm working all kinds of hours. Usually from 8:30 to 5:00, then more on weekends. I don't mind since I have nothing else to do. If you want, I will tell you stories like I used to. Let me know.

Sorry about Mr. Kuck, you did tell me about him going into the nursing home, and about his wife also.

Hey, its Peeps time again. I feel I have an obligation now, since I'm living in your father's house. I feel his presence around, so as not to get him mad, I'm getting him Peeps this year.

I started going to see a psychologist here since I now have new medical insurance. I saw him for two hours the first time, and told him all about me, and you, and my life, and asked him to not yell at me. Well, in a sense he wants me to forget about you..ha ha. He said "don't expect her to decide to be with you again". Although, I guess he is right, its not what I want to hear from him. He also said, that I cannot go to him, if I will not accept what he says to me. Its a waste of time, and money to keep "coming to me, if you won't heed what I say". He said, if you have already moved on with someone else, I must accept the fact you are in love with him, and maybe will share your future with him. Oh, well, I guess he is right about everything.

On another topic, each morning, I go to the 7-11 down the block from your mothers place, for my coffee and when I come out, I stand there a few minutes each day, and look around to the mountains, and remember how it was when we were here. In fact, whenever I travel around the city, it brings back memories of things and places we visited or did. One thing I do a lot (mostly on Sundays) is go to Red Rock Canyon and drive through the place or go hiking through the trails. Its great to be alone with the mountains.

Well, write when you can, I will start a new letter for you tomorrow, then consolidate it before I send it. How is work? How's the car? The house? Your health? Hope the kids are okay. And, tell me if you need anything!!!

Remember, enjoy your mother when she stays with you.

Hi
Well the weather is finally putting on a happy face and cooperating. The past couple of days have been warmer and mostly sunny. I think the worst is over ...for now...hopefully. How are you? How's everything going with your new job? I spoke to my mother a few days ago and we talked about her staying with me for a few days next month. We were going to do it this month, but John will be away in Virginia for Geico training and he didn't want to miss grandma's visit. It will be nice to have her here and be able to spend some time with her. I told her that she had some home coming since moving back here and getting a total of nearly 4 feet of snow. Hopefully the weather will be even milder next month and we can take a walk to the park and around the neighborhood. She better not think she's going to veg in the house like she does at Jackie's She said that Nikki has been so great with taking her to the beauty parlor and shopping. She sounds so happy to be back, but very tired. When she came here for Christmas Eve, she really looked like she had aged. She also seemed to be tired. I have to remember she's in her 80's. Anyway, we'll get to spend some time with her and then ship her back to Goshen!!

Any news about Julie and Luis? I know you don't keep in touch with Julie, but does Luis keep you informed about her health? You must be enjoying the warm weather and I hope you're still walking around the neighborhood there. I'm sure you're looking forward to swimming in the pool across the street. Just be careful because most of those geezers don't have any bladder control, so you may be swimming in a pool of their ...well...you know what.

I'm sure you remember my next door neighbor Mr. Kuck...he passed away about 2 weeks ago. He had been in a nursing home. He had advanced Alzheimer's. A nice young couple moved into the house. I'll email again soon.

Hi Babe:
I did get both pictures, and its hard to believe all that snow. To cover the fishing boy to his hat, wow. Did you shovel all that snow? Is it melting yet? Where is a picture of you shoveling? Better yet, vegging out in the couch.

My comment about the email from the night before was my mistake. When I got the first picture, (which I guess you sent from your phone) it attached it to an email you sent me back on December 10th 2008! In that one it stated about an email sent the night before. Can you imagine, from 2008. I didn't look too closely, and was just so exited to read it, that I believed it was from you from the night before, not two years ago.
Anyway, mystery solved.

Hi, I'm happy you got the text with the picture of the front yard. I did send you a second picture showing only the little boat boy's head which is the only thing visible with all the snow!!....I'm don't know what email you're talking about re-sending. I don't have any in my sent folder. I don't remember sending any emails last night. Sorry.
I check again.

Hi Babe:
Got the picture, thought it was an email, then figured out it was like a text. Wanted to let you know I did not receive the email you sent lat night, but please find it in the sent folder or wherever and send it again.

I'm sitting in Dunkin Donuts right now having breakfast. Yes, a bit late but I got up this morning to cleaning! After doing the laundry, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning the bathrooms, I finally showered, got dressed, and here I am. Tonight, I have the ironing to do. Then get ready for work again.

Please find that email!!!!!!!

Hi Babe:
Its Valentines Day, and I know you don't like this day, although you deserve pink roses, and all the love in the world. What I would like for you this year are chocolate covered strawberries on this day. Maybe someday, you could share with me why you don't like Valentines Day. Well, in any case, I hope you have a nice day with the boys, and that someone gives you the flowers.

On a different note, I want to share with you a place I found which I know you would just love.
There is a supermarket here called Whole Foods Market which is like no other supermarket you have ever seen, experienced, or even imagined. It is the size of a large Pathmark, but it carries NO known brands or labels. There is a whole isle of cereals, yet not one from Kelloggs of General Mills or Post. Juice isle but none from Welch's or Motts. How about a chocolate candy isle, yet none from Hersheys, or Nestles. A sauce isle, but none from Ragu, or Del Monte. A salt section, yet nothing from Mortons. Well, you get the idea. There is a whole section for Meats, a section for chicken, a section for fish, just like a giant Swans. And not to mention a bakery on site. There are so many things which you would just love trying out and investigating. The prices are a bit higher, but its expected. I think it caters to the rich people here. Its also mostly organic grown stuff. I found it by accident when I was getting my pants tailored and had to waste some time while it got done, so I went next door and browsed, and could only think of you shopping here.

Well, Babe, have a nice day, and as always I only ask for you to be my Valentine each day, every day, but most of all, this day.

I'll let you know how much snow we get ..thanks for the email.

Hi Babe:
This time you might not be so lucky. It seems the storm is heading for everyone in the east coast. Heard the predictions are up to 20 inches in NY. Be careful! Don't go to work if it gets too bad. Its not worth the risk. And, remember, its just a job. We can make up for it any time, any place, any amount. Besides, Pat will never fire you.

If you get a chance, write and let me know how you fared. Stay safe.
